There are several bike climbs in the Mountains of Italy that have played a role in cycling history, and that are part of a unique cult of 'hill climber's'. The climbs we explore during this active vacation are some of the best known to people, outside of Italy and the Pro Cycling community. First we ride the Heart of the Dolomite's riding Passo Duran, Passo Staulanza, Passo Giau, and the 4 Passes of the Sella Group. Then a short transfer over to the Italian Alps to ride Passo Stelvio, Passo Mortirolo, and the Passo Giava. Our routes are up the classic sides and the base ride to each hotel shorter so that you can always ride an additional Pass if you wish. But if you have had enough for the day you can relax and recover for the next day's ride. The base routes are ride able by fit cyclist with appropriate gear ratio's.
